As a Heavy Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing assigned areas throughout the property. What will you do? Maintain cleaning equipment and tools in a safe and proper manner Assist fellow team members to ensure a smooth operation Maintain daily documentation on the cleaning of all equipment Perform cleanings in private and enclosed areas Operate shampooers, buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, scissor lifts, and various cleaning equipment More about you Must be able to obtain and maintain a state gaming license No experience required; previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience preferred Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures Ability to read in English; ability to print and speak simple sentences Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations No degree required Weekends, holidays, and swing shift work may be required Physical requirements Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Frequent lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling Standing and walking for length of shift Shift details M_F OT as needed 8hr shift Every weekend Weekends M-F Holidays Overnight Days Who we are Southland Casino Hotel, owned and operated by Delaware North, features more than 2200 slot machines, live blackjack, craps, and roulette tables, simulcast wagering, and sportsbook.
