This employee will be under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor. Education requirements High School Diploma/GED required. Experience requirements Should have experience in the operation and care of equipment, safety practice of equipment, i.e. floor polishers, power saws, power mower/tractor, hand tools, used for office and ground's keeping. Should have experience in custodian and grounds work. Qualifications Must have valid driver's license. Testing may be required. Responsibilities Responsible for general cleaning, and maintenance of the tribal administration building, i.e. office, lobby. Tribal chambers and immediate grounds surrounding the administration building. Responsible for ordering and maintaining a complete inventory of supplies, materials and equipment. Responsible for maintaining and making minor repairs on machines, equipment, and tools. Performs minor maintenance services, i.e. electrical plumbing, painting, air conditioning systems, and carpentry. Clean office areas, bathrooms, and front lobby area; i.e. mop, strip, and wax floors, furniture fixtures, walls and windows; trash and garbage containers. Performs building maintenance replacing window/light fixtures, A/C filters, repair woodwork, replacing floor tiles, filters and replacing washers in faucets. Perform landscape on immediate surrounding grounds area, i.e. cutting grass, trimming trees, and water grass. Make assessment on major repairs needed and get estimates on service costs for repair work. Insure all offices, work areas, and administration building is secured at the end of operational hours.
