Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 2:00 PM•7:00 PM Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor/Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized school environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining high cleanliness standards for students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, and common areas Maintain restrooms, including restocking supplies and disinfecting surfaces Sweep, mop, and maintain hallways, floors, and entryways Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the facility Clean and maintain kitchen and eating areas Assist with cleaning and maintenance of the gymnasium and activity spaces Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management Perform deep cleaning during school breaks , including detailed sanitizing, floor care, and larger cleaning projects Qualifications Previous janitorial or custodial experience required Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules Strong attention to detail Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and professional Must be authorized to work in the United States Must speak English Schedule Monday-Friday 2:00 PM•7:00 PM Additional hours may be available during school breaks for deep cleaning projects
