Job Description

Under the direction of the Director of Facility Services and/or his or her designee, the Environmental Services Aide is responsible for performing cleaning of patient and non-patient care areas throughout the facility to ensure that they are in a high state of cleanliness at all times. In addition to this, some duties include floor care and medical and non-medical waste disposal. To perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
High School graduate or GED required. Must have the ability to read written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions given in English. Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
Experience:
One year of housekeeping experience preferred. One year of hospital-based housekeeping preferred.
License and cert:
Certificate in a recognized housekeeping or floor care program preferred.
Shift:
Shifts Vary Days:
