Job Summary:

Vista Real Post Acute is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, understands the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare setting, and works well independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, offices, bathrooms, and hallways Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces according to facility standards Remove trash and dispose of waste properly Refill paper products, soap, and other supplies as needed Follow infection control, safety, and OSHA guidelines Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly Support a positive and respectful environment for residents and staff

Qualifications:

Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus) Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Able to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Must be able to pass background screening per facility requirements
