Full Job Description Overview:
We are currently seeking a Part-Time Day Porter to join our team in Santa Monica. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for all. Mondays and Thursdays only. No weekends.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
  • Clean offices and cubicles
  • Clean common areas as kitchen, lobby, and meeting rooms
  • Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal area
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access and special clearance.
Skills:
  • EXPERIENCE
    in commercial cleaning, custodial services, or facilities maintenance
  • Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and techniques
  • Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in floor care procedures such as buffing and maintaining various floor types
  • Strong communication skills to interact with staff and visitors effectively
  • Must speak English.
