Shift Job Summary:

Responsible for preparing parts for the production process and assisting the operator as needed

Job Description:

Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming Cleaning, which includes: machines, mixers, table racks, conveyors, dishes, refrigerators Dusting of all office furniture, wipe down of desks Cleaning all bathrooms and breakrooms Restocking bathrooms/breakrooms Empty trash and recycle cans Strip, clean, buff and apply floor sealer and shampoo carpets Ensure soap and paper towel dispensers are full at all times General cleaning: removal of garbage and debris in all departments, assist paint in weekly cleanup Pick up trash in parking lots and areas surrounding buildings Wear necessary PPE to protect from hazards including hexavalent chromium Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

Education:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (required)

Experience:

Prefer previous janitorial/custodial experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The majority of work is performed in a manufacturing setting. This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Valence Surface Technologies is required to verify that applicants meet ITAR requirements prior to employment for this role.
