This role is essential in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our commercial and residential properties. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across multiple facilities. Conduct detailed floor care procedures such as buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Handle industrial cleaning duties involving heavy-duty equipment and specialized cleaning agents. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas in accordance with health and safety standards. Assist with custodial responsibilities for both commercial and residential spaces, including window washing and surface sanitation. Support facilities maintenance activities as needed, including minor repairs and reporting larger issues. Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning operations to ensure a safe working environment. Use appropriate cleaning tools and supplies efficiently while minimizing waste. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and industrial cleaning equipment. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices including minor repairs and upkeep. Experience with buffing machines, carpet extractors, and other cleaning machinery is preferred. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
