Porter Truly Pizza LLC Laguna Beach, CA Job Details Part-time $16.90 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Outdoor work Writing skills Disinfection procedures Stocking Facilities maintenance Time management Full Job Description Purpose To oversee the premises of the restaurant and the curtilage; inspect the premises and correct any deficiency in cleanliness, surface conditions, organization, neatness, stocking, rolls ups, filing water/beverage, and any other condition that needs attention. Knowledge The ability to approach and solve problems practically, sound oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, and good time management skills. Basic Functions
  • Inspect and correct all locations of the restaurant, including bathrooms and other areas for cleanliness, safety of floors, debris, organization.
  • To restock items as needed.
  • Assist in roll ups, settings, water fills. Clean and dry glasses and dishes Sweeping and mopping
  • To perform any other function necessary for a clean and efficient public location with priority for the safety for the public and employees Essential Functions
  • The Porter must be ready to work at the time the shift begins.
  • identifying all safety and maintenance issues and communicating them to managers.
  • Good time management, self-management, and organizational skills which enable the worker to maintain his or her composure and carry out his or her cleaning and maintenance duty on time
  • Requires standing for up to eight hours.
  • Must be able to reach all areas of the restaurant on a timely basis.
  • Requires walking.
  • Requires repetitive movement.
  • Requires manual dexterity to handle and operate equipment.
  • Requires bending or twisting.
  • Requires using hands to handle, grasp, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Requires moving heaters, equipment, and tables weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Requires work in an outdoor/indoor environment with temperatures from -10F to up to +110F.
  • Must understand written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents, cleaning supplies, cleaning chemicals, warnings on cleaning supplies, and cleaning chemicals.
  • Must be able to adjust cleaning and application of cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and sanitation chemicals safely.
  • Includes responsibility for the health and safety of others.
  • Requires repeating the same physical activities or mental activities over and over.

Technical Skills Equipment Maintenance Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed. Equipment Selection Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job. Operations Monitoring Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly. Personal Interaction Requires coordinating with others in accomplishing work activities. Requires work with external customers or the public. Requires work with others in a group or team. Work Attire Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment.
