Duties:

• Perform general janitorial duties to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the facility
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Dust and wipe down surfaces
• Clean windows and glass surfaces
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
• Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and complete tasks in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, and waxing for some.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, and floor buffers
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed
