Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility. Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and other floor care techniques to ensure a polished appearance. Clean restrooms thoroughly, restocking supplies and ensuring sanitation standards are met. Handle industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of carpets or specialized equipment as needed. Conduct general custodial duties including window washing, surface disinfecting, and waste disposal. Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or reporting repairs needed for facilities upkeep. Follow safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with knowledge of commercial and residential cleaning practices. Strong background in custodial work with expertise in floor care techniques like buffing and polishing. Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and facilities maintenance tasks. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and floor scrubbers safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly. Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working in various environments.
