Custodian performs a variety of custodial tasks to care, maintain, disinfect, sanitize, and preserve campus facilities. Responsible to clean, dust, strip, wax, sweep, mop, polish, disinfect, sanitize, wash, vacuum, replenish restrooms, and remove refuse/recycling throughout campus facilities, conference rooms, elevators, stairwells, offices, classrooms, laboratories, auditoriums, restrooms, lounges, hallways, residential facilities, exteriors, etc. May work independently or as a part of a team in assigned work areas. Maintains a positive attitude and communicates effectively with colleagues, supervisors, staff, faculty and students. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
