Waste and Recycling Porter with Trash Scouts - Oakland/East Bay Area

Trash Scouts is a fast growing Waste and Recycling services company that serves residential apartment residential and commercial communities throughout the Bay Area. Our goal is to help our customers handle their waste and recycling dumpsters and carts, by safely and reliably moving their trash dumpsters, carts and bins to the curb on pickup day. We provide additional onsite services to help maintain the cleanliness of the trash room. Primary tasks will be to collect and transport waste and recycling bins in the trash room or designated area throughout property and move them to the curb for pick up. Inspect and clean waste room/enclosures, including removing and disposing of bulky trash items. Monitor and report issues that help our customers understand their waste streams better, avoid issues that could result in fines or interruption in their service, such as overflowing trash, contamination, broken bins or other issues utilizing our mobile application. Bay Area Job Summary:

Drive vehicle from various customer sites Safely handle the waste and recycling bins throughout the property, to prepare and transport them for secure curbside collection by the hauler Monitor and manage trash, recycling, and compost for customer by reporting any issues that could interrupt their services. Inspect and clean common area trash rooms/enclosures as assigned. Must work well with others and represent a company professionally Comply with company code of conduct and quality standards for service, timeliness, safety, privacy, and reporting. Pay :

Starting $22.00

Work Schedule:

Sunday-Thursday 8 hours per shifts. Shifts typically start at 3 pm -11 pm Full-time hours working 40 hours per week

Qualifications:

Must be at least 22 years of age and authorized to work in the United States Spanish Bi-lingual is a plus but not required Must have a valid and clean driver's license with no accidents or moving violations. Driving experience of 4 years The capability to lift 50 lbs. will be required. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to climb stairs and walk distances. Ability to push wheeled dumpsters in and out of various terrains and distances All candidates will be given a pre-employment drug screen and thorough background and Motor Vehicle Record check.
