Porter Job Description We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Mailroom / Janitorial Clerk to support daily onsite operations. This role is primarily focused on mailroom duties and light janitorial work, with minimal shipping and receiving responsibilities. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, and comfortable working independently in a professional office environment. Responsibilities Manage daily mailroom operations, including receiving items and distributing them throughout the site. Perform light janitorial duties to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Assist with minimal shipping/receiving tasks as needed, with no heavy logistics work. Coordinate onsite activities and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Follow established safety and workplace procedures. Essential Skills Minimum of 2 years experience in a related role. Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. Must have dependable transportation to job site. Basic computer skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred. Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are strongly preferred. Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment check. Work Environment Work in a professional office environment with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:45 AM - 2:15 PM. The role requires occasional lifting and moving of items, ensuring a clean and organized workspace is maintained. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Redwood City, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
