Job Description

Janitor (part time) Waterman Canyon Post Acute - San Bernardino, CA Waterman Canyon Post Acute is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
Pay Range:
$17.48 - $19.00 per hour, DOE Position Summary The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, ensuring all areas meet health, safety, and infection control standards. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, and offices Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors and surfaces Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly Clean windows, walls, and fixtures as needed Restock supplies in bathrooms and common areas Follow facility infection control and safety protocols Report maintenance or safety concerns to management Assist with deep cleaning projects as assigned Qualifications Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting preferred Ability to follow cleaning schedules and procedures Strong attention to detail and reliability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods Knowledge of infection control practices preferred Why Join Waterman Canyon Post Acute?
