Your expertise in cleaning, floor care, custodial tasks, and facilities maintenance will directly contribute to creating a positive environment in every location you serve. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of commercial and residential spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal Conduct detailed floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance Execute custodial duties including restroom sanitation, surface disinfecting, window cleaning, and restocking supplies Maintain industrial cleaning standards for larger facilities or specialized areas requiring deep cleaning Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or damage to property Keep detailed records of completed work and communicate any issues or supply needs promptly Requirements Commercial General Liability Insurance Workers' Compensation Insurance Valid Car Insurance Reliable Transportation Federal Tax ID Number (EIN) Own Cleaning Equipment and Supplies Proven experience in janitorial services or custodial work within commercial settings Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and industrial cleaning practices Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality service delivery Self-motivated with the ability to manage schedules and assignments efficiently Ability to perform manual cleaning duties involving standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout the day Contract Position This is an independent contractor position and not an employee role. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, equipment, and transportation. Work will be assigned based on contract availability and service needs.
