Acuity Total Solutions Acuity Total Solutions, a federal contractor, is seeking dependable and responsive individuals to join our team as On-Call Janitors at the San Diego Federal Building. This role supports essential facility operations by providing coverage when team members are out, helping maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment in a secure federal setting. This position is on-call and scheduled based on operational needs , with no guaranteed hours . Ideal for individuals seeking flexible or supplemental work. Compensation $19.80 per hour $4.57 per hour Health & Welfare fringe benefit (in accordance with federal Service Contract Act requirements) Position Overview On-call / as-needed role (no guaranteed hours) Coverage for employee absences and operational needs

Workdays:

Monday through Friday Must be available to respond to short-notice assignments Key Responsibilities Perform general janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas Disinfect high-touch surfaces to maintain health and safety standards Support floor care tasks such as buffing or waxing (as needed) Remove trash and maintain clean, orderly spaces Report maintenance or safety concerns Follow all safety and security procedures within a federal facility Work Environment Offices and administrative areas Restrooms and break areas Hallways, stairwells, and common areas Secure federal facility setting Minimum Qualifications At least 1 year of janitorial experience required 2 years of janitorial or custodial experience preferred Floor care experience a plus Must be able to pass a federal background check Ability to perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 40 lbs) Reliable and able to respond to short-notice scheduling needs Why Join Acuity Total Solutions Flexible, supplemental work opportunity Professional federal facility environment Supportive team focused on quality service Education High school diploma or equivalent required
