Schedule:

Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm.

We are an established janitorial services company and a market leader in providing porter and janitorial services to multi family and apartment communities. Position Summary:

The Day Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of assigned properties. This position requires a proactive approach to cleaning, responsiveness to requests, and consistent attention to detail throughout the workday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Including but not limited to: Follow instructions and assigned cleaning schedules Respond promptly to building and cleaning requests Monitor and maintain cleanliness of lobbies, corridors, elevators, and stairwells Pick up, empty, and transport trash and recycling Remove debris from floors and surrounding areas Clean and sanitize restrooms including toilets and sinks Refill paper towel, toilet paper, and soap dispensers Clean spills and maintain safe conditions at all times Maintain cleanliness of common areas Clean glass surfaces including doors and mirrors Perform detailed dusting, vacuuming, and mopping as needed Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Reliable transportation required 1 to 2 years of janitorial or cleaning experience preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills and ability to follow a set schedule Self motivated with a strong sense of responsibility

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and carry a backpack vacuum (approximately 12 pounds) Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching
