We have 2 hospital locations, and the shifts would be shared between both. We have Janitor shifts available on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (Sunday thru Wednesday) from 7:30 AM - 6:15PM. As a medical facility, our staff works an alternate schedule of four 10-hour days/week versus five 8-hour days/week.

Wage Range:

$18.00-$19.50 EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in a veterinary clinic a plus but not required. Previous in a custodial/janitorial position required

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 18 years old.

Physical Effort :

Work requires lifting and carrying of up to 40bs. Walks or stands for extended periods or time; frequently works in a bent position. Working conditions : May be exposed to unpleasant odors, noises and animal feces and urine. May be exposed to bites, scratches and contagious diseases. Dependable, arrives on time and ready to work at the start of their scheduled shift Can conduct oneself in a confident and professional manner even when stressed and/or focused on individual tasks.

Clean patient exam rooms as needed Clean kennels and dog runs as needed Laundry Empty trash Clean bathrooms and restock items as needed Sweep and Mop floors Dusting Vacuum floors Sanitize high touch surfaces Clean break room Clean floor gutters Clean sinks Clean wet tables Special infrequent cleaning projects such as baseboards, cabinets, air vents, light fixtures
