As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our indoor and outdoor spaces. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, waxing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance Handle industrial cleaning tasks involving heavy-duty equipment and specialized cleaning techniques for large-scale facilities Assist with janitorial duties such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces to promote hygiene standards Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for lighting, plumbing, or structural issues promptly Maintain cleanliness during special events or after construction projects to ensure spaces are ready for use Follow safety protocols related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and proper disposal procedures Qualifications Prior custodial or janitorial experience demonstrating familiarity with cleaning procedures and equipment Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing Experience with commercial or industrial cleaning environments preferred Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely Basic understanding of facilities maintenance practices is a plus Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Custodian and be part of a dynamic team committed to maintaining clean, safe, and inviting spaces.
