The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role involves performing repairs, and maintaining a safe working environment and the appearance of our community. The Maintenance Technician will work collaboratively with other team members to uphold high standards of service and efficiency. Duties Perform general repairs and maintenance on home lots and community infrastructure. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. Oversee facilities maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Engage in residential painting projects as required to maintain aesthetic standards. Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with residents or team members. Conduct routine inspections and identify repair needs. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment. Work with property manager to prioritize work orders and projects. Keep a clean and organized maintenance area/ workrooms. Experience Proven experience in general maintenance, basic plumbing, electrical, etc. Ability to operate basic tools and machinery (e.g., lawnmowers, trimmers, hand tools). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish for effective interaction with team members and community residents. A background in customer service is advantageous, contributing to a positive workplace atmosphere.
