Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Janitorial Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and general upkeep of company buildings and surrounding grounds. This role includes janitorial duties, office cleaning, industrial floor cleaning, and minor building maintenance such as paint touch-ups and basic repairs to ensure a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform daily janitorial cleaning of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize facility areas. Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the facility. Maintain outdoor areas through light industrial landscaping, including sweeping, debris removal, parking areas using blowers, and basic grounds upkeep; if requested. Perform light building upkeep (ex. paint touch-ups). Monitor and restock cleaning and restroom supplies. Report larger maintenance or safety concerns to management. Maintain organization and cleanliness of janitorial storage areas. Follow all company safety procedures and policies. Adhere to safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Previous janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred. Experience operating floor scrubbers, buffers, and landscaping equipment. Basic knowledge of general building upkeep. Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to and willing to work around chemicals.
ITAR REQUIREMENT
Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident). 7:00AM - 3:30PM
