Environmental Services Technician

What You'll Need:

High School diploma or GED preferred. Prior cleaning experience in a health care setting preferred. Other cleaning experience may be accepted. Knowledge of chemicals and equipment used for cleaning in a health care setting. Knowledge of safety hazards and necessary safety precautions to create a safe environment in a healthcare setting.

What You'll Do:

Clean all patient rooms and common areas. Discharge cleaning

• thoroughly clean patient's rooms after the patient has left the hospital. Cycle Cleaning
• weekly or monthly detailed cleaning of all surfaces. Carpet & Upholstery Care
• vacuum all carpeted floors regularly, treat spots and stains on carpet or upholstery as needed. Hard Surface Floors
• daily or more frequently dust, damp and spot mop.

Participate in on-call and weekend rotation.
