The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance, with a focus on both commercial and residential spaces. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Carry out custodial duties including trash removal, restroom sanitation, and surface cleaning. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring all areas are well-kept. Engage in industrial cleaning processes when required, adhering to safety protocols. Support porter duties by helping with the movement of furniture or equipment as necessary. Occasionally assist with residential painting projects to maintain aesthetic appeal. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues. Experience Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus. Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning environments will be advantageous.
