Commercial Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician

As a kitchen hood cleaning technician, you will be essential in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of commercial kitchen grease hood exhaust systems. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will clean and maintain exhaust systems for compliance with established hood cleaning procedures and safety protocol. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be vital in delivering exceptional service. Additionally, your ability to work in a team and manage time effectively will enhance operational efficiency. Room for growth and opportunity to build a career. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, ducts, and fans, to ensure optimal performance and safety. Inspect and assess ductwork for any signs of damage or blockage. Utilize appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment to remove grease and debris. Adhere to safety standards and regulations while working in various environments. Collaborate with team members to coordinate service schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks. Requirements Ability to work nights - most work from mid-May to mid-August will be during the day, but nights are required after that. Ability to work in small spaces to perform cleaning tasks. Ability to work with pressure wash equipment and cleaning agents.
