Duties Perform thorough cleaning of commercial, residential, or industrial spaces using appropriate tools and cleaning agents. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a spotless appearance. Execute custodial tasks including trash removal, restroom sanitation, dusting, window cleaning, and surface disinfecting. Support portering responsibilities by moving furniture or equipment and ensuring common areas are tidy and organized. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to ensure a hazard-free environment for yourself and others. Maintain detailed logs of completed tasks and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred. Experience with general facilities maintenance or porter duties enhances your ability to adapt quickly to diverse tasks. Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment operation, and safety standards ensures efficient performance. Previous industrial cleaning experience can be beneficial but is not required. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent time management skills helps deliver consistent quality service. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards.
