Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, elevators, and restrooms to uphold high standards of hygiene. Handle floor care tasks including mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to keep surfaces fresh and inviting. Follow established safety procedures during cleaning processes to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate department for prompt resolution. Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens to prepare rooms for new guests efficiently. Adhere to hotel policies regarding cleanliness standards, security protocols, and guest privacy at all times. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping within hotels or similar hospitality settings. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including mopping, polishing, and carpet maintenance. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies used in large-scale custodial tasks. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive cleaning tasks throughout shifts. Experience in hospitality or hotel management is a plus for understanding guest expectations and service excellence.
