Arbour Commons Apartments We are seeking a reliable and service-oriented professional to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, residents, visitors, and guests. This role supports daily operations through routine cleaning, organization, and assistance with general facility needs. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating positive first impressions and contributing to a well-run space. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and presentation of assigned areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, common spaces, and other facility areas as needed Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, vacuuming, and waste removal Monitor and restock supplies in designated areas Assist with light maintenance support and report any safety concerns, damaged items, or needed repairs Support room setups, deliveries, and other general facility tasks as assigned Help ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety, cleanliness, and quality standards Interact professionally with team members, visitors, and vendors Follow established procedures for handling cleaning materials, equipment, and building access Qualifications Previous experience in porter, custodial, housekeeping, or general maintenance support roles preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently Comfortable using standard cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies Good communication and customer service skills Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines Physical ability to perform tasks that may include standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the workday Preferred Attributes Dependable and punctual Positive attitude and professional demeanor Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment What We Offer Supportive team environment Opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained and welcoming facility Steady work with clear expectations and responsibilities If you are hardworking, dependable, and take pride in helping keep spaces clean and presentable, we encourage you to apply.
