• Floor Care Porter

• What You'll Do:

• As a Porter, healing environment that you create will improve the comfort and well-being of our residents, guests and team. This entry-level position also offers a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn more about long-term care and its many career opportunities.

• Key Responsibilities:

• + Perform daily cleaning tasks, floor care and waxing.

+ Ensure cleanliness + Dispose of trash and waste + Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed + Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a safe and organized environment + Operate cleaning equipment such as buffing machines, vacuums, etc. If you are passionate about making a real difference in people's lives through the healing power of a clean environment, and would like to grow your career, we invite you to join our Enviornmental Services team!

• What You'll Bring:

• Qualifications of a Porter include:
• + High school graduate or equivalent preferred + Ability to read, write and comprehend English + Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently + Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards + Knowledge of cleaning protocols, infection control, fire prevention and safety measures in long-term care are highly valued but not required; training will be provided + Compassionate and empathetic nature + Ability to work effectively in a team environment •We Hire for Heart!
