MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
High school student (age 16+) or college student Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. No prior experience necessary; training will be provided
JOB DESCRIPTION
Fairfield Public Schools is seeking motivated and responsible high school student or college student to join our custodial team for the summer. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable work experience, develop practical skills, and contribute to the upkeep of our school facilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting. Support custodial staff in setting up and breaking down furniture for events and activities. Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks under the supervision of experienced staff. Ensure that school facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
