Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented spanish, English speaking Janitorial Supervisor to lead and oversee cleaning operations across our facilities. In this role, you will manage a team of custodians, ensuring that all areas maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene. Your leadership will be vital in creating a welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to excellence in hospitality and facility management. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across multiple areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and specialized spaces such as laundry or kitchen areas. Train and mentor janitorial staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service standards. Monitor cleaning supplies inventory levels and place orders to ensure adequate stock for ongoing operations. Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness standards are met and identify areas for improvement. Schedule staff shifts efficiently to ensure coverage during peak times and special events. Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure working environment for all team members. Collaborate with management to develop cleaning schedules that align with operational needs and compliance requirements. Skills Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning practices. Supervising or management experience in hospitality, hotel housekeeping, or facility services is highly desirable. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team effectively. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry processes, and custodial equipment operation. Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure. Good communication skills for training staff and coordinating with other departments. Familiarity with safety regulations related to chemical handling, equipment use, and workplace hygiene standards.
