Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Night Janitor and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during overnight hours. As a Night Janitor, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas are spotless, well-maintained, and ready for the next day's activities. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and chemical agents. Handle custodial tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal to ensure a pristine environment. Operate floor buffers and other custodial equipment to maintain high-quality floor care and buffing standards. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly. Safely handle chemical agents and cleaning supplies following proper procedures to ensure a healthy environment for all staff. Assist with light adjustments to cleaning equipment. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures. Familiarity with chemical agent handling and safety protocols related to cleaning supplies. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to maintain cleanliness standards consistently. Basic ability to identify issues requiring repair. Physical stamina and mobility to stand, walk, lift garbage and perform manual tasks during night shifts.
