Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including commercial, residential, and vacation rental settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES DAILY TRAVEL THROUGHOUT EASTERN CT AND WESTERN RI

you must have your own reliable vehicle, insurance and a valid drivers license. We offer a gas stipend and full pay during driving time. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, ensuring all surfaces are dusted, wiped, and sanitized. Execute floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Carry out janitorial duties such as emptying trash bins, replenishing supplies, and cleaning restrooms. Assist with custodial tasks in both commercial and residential settings as needed. Conduct routine maintenance checks on cleaning equipment and report any issues to management. Support facilities maintenance efforts by performing light repairs or painting when required. Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. Organization activities and other duties as assigned by management Qualifications Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is advantageous. Experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning environments is a plus. Knowledge of custodial practices and facilities maintenance is beneficial. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
