Job Description

Position Summary:
Join our dedicated team as a Kennel Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our furry residents. This position involves thorough cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kennels and animal care areas to ensure optimal hygiene and comfort for animals in our facility. Key Responsibilities:
Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and animal housing areas Wash food and water bowls and restock supplies Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors and common areas Dispose of waste and maintain sanitation standards throughout the facility Assist with laundry, including animal bedding and towels Observe animals for signs of illness or distress and report concerns to staff Follow established safety and animal handling procedures
Qualifications:
Ability to work weekends on a consistent schedule Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods Comfortable working around animals, including dogs and cats Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently Previous experience working with animals or in a cleaning role is helpful but not required
High School Diploma Work Environment:
This position involves working in a kennel environment with exposure to animals, cleaning chemicals, noise, and occasional outdoor conditions.
Compensation/ Benefits:
$18.00 per hour Position is part-time, up to 16 hours per week Potential to add Fridays and Mondays- shifts are 4 hours/day Due to the limited hours, this position is not eligible for benefits How to
