Environmental Services Worker(EVS Technician)

Job Title:

Environmental Service Worker Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Service Worker for the 2nd shift, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. This role involves working rotating days, with the requirement to be available every other weekend or at least two weekends a month. The primary focus will be cleaning inpatient areas, common rooms, and handling turnovers when patients leave. The role also includes cleaning office spaces and areas closed off to patients and visitors. While specific cleaning protocols will be provided during training, a basic understanding of cleaning techniques and chemical usage is essential. Responsibilities Clean inpatient areas and common rooms. Perform turnovers for patient departures. Clean office spaces and restricted areas. Utilize mops and appropriate cleaning chemicals for various surfaces. Essential Skills 1+ year experience in the healthcare industry. Ability to speak, understand, read, and write in English. Experience in environmental service, janitorial duties, customer service, or hospitality. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a similar role is a plus. Reliability and punctuality. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Manchester, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.94 - $19.94/hr.
