Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian / Maintenance Leader to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized environment across our spaces. Your proactive approach to cleaning, custodial upkeep, and minor maintenance will ensure our facilities operate smoothly and provide a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your janitorial expertise and maintenance skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, lobbies, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies Conduct routine floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance Carry out janitorial tasks including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and restocking supplies to uphold cleanliness standards Assist with minor repairs and general facilities maintenance to address issues promptly and prevent disruptions Support industrial cleaning projects when required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols during high-volume or specialized cleaning tasks Maintain cleanliness of equipment and storage areas while following proper safety procedures Collaborate with team members to ensure all custodial duties are completed efficiently and on schedule Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within commercial or residential settings Strong knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks safely and effectively using specialized equipment Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including basic repairs and troubleshooting minor issues Excellent attention to detail with a focus on health and safety standards Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing manual tasks over extended periods Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance needs promptly Join us as a Custodian / Maintenance professional where your efforts directly contribute to creating clean, safe environments that support the daily operations of our organization.
