Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Drain Cleaning Helper and be a vital part of maintaining efficient plumbing systems! In this energetic role, you will assist skilled technicians in cleaning and repairing drains, pipes, and sewer lines. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn will help ensure our clients experience smooth, clog-free plumbing solutions. This paid position offers hands-on experience in construction-related tasks, providing a strong foundation for future growth in the plumbing and construction industries. Duties Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of drainage systems using hand tools and power tools Support team members in cleaning out clogged drains, sewer lines, and pipes using appropriate equipment Carry out heavy lifting of equipment, pipes, and materials safely on construction sites Operate basic construction machinery and tools while adhering to safety protocols Maintain cleanliness of work sites and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use Skills Construction site experience with a focus on plumbing or drainage systems Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools Knowledge of plumbing principles, schematics, and mechanical systems such as HVAC or remodeling projects Mechanical knowledge related to pipe threading, assembly, and system troubleshooting Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and estimations during tasks Experience with carpentry, handyman tasks, or construction remodeling projects is a plus Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding work in various weather conditions Join us to develop your skills in construction plumbing while contributing to essential infrastructure projects!
