Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our team. As a Carpet Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional carpet cleaning services to our clients. Your attention to detail and knowledge of floor care techniques will ensure that our clients' carpets are clean and well-maintained.Duties:
- Perform carpet cleaning services using industry-standard equipment and techniques
- Inspect carpets for stains, spots, and damage prior to cleaning
- Pre-treat carpets with appropriate cleaning solutions to remove stains and odors
- Use carpet cleaning machines to deep clean and extract dirt, debris, and allergens from carpets
- Move furniture and other items as necessary to access all areas of the carpet
- Apply carpet protectant or deodorizer as requested by clients
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or floor care is preferred
- Knowledge of different carpet types and appropriate cleaning methods
- Familiarity with environmental services and custodial practices
- Experience in buffing or polishing floors is a plus
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot stains or damage on carpets
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
