Janitorial Engineer

• PLEASE READ ENTIRE REQUIREMENT

• Trash Removal, general wiping of desks, sweeping/mopping, dusting, etc.

Cleaning experience is a plus. We will provide initial standard cleaning training. We will provide all supplies.

OFFICE AREAS

• Wash trash bins, replace garbage bags, and empty trash cans as necessary.
• Vacuum mats and carpets
• Vacuum or sweep hard floor surfaces
• Disinfect horizontal surfaces with damp wipes
• Dust office equipment and furniture including chairs, desks, computers and tables (if applicable)
• Use damp mop to clean hard surface floors.
• Wipe doors and light switches to get rid of fingerprints and other marks.
• Clean glass doors and windows (interior 3x/year, exterior 2x/year)
• Spot clean walls and surfaces
• Clean the microwave, oven and refrigerator in the break rooms or kitchen (if applicable)

RESTROOMS

• Clean mirrors
• Replace hand towels, soap and toilet
• Replace garbage bags, empty trash cans and wash bins if needed
• Disinfect bathroom surfaces such as hand dryers, hand towel dispensers, doorhandles, counters and faucets
• Wipe and dust surfaces to get rid of fingerprints and dust
• Spot clean walls and get rid of splash marks
• Clean glass and windows
• Mop kitchen and bathroom floors
• Disinfect urinals and toilets.

Requirements:

positive attitude coachable may need to lift items (i.e. buckets, cleaning products, etc.) ranging between 10-25lbs spend 90% of time on the job on your feet, walking & standing. Some squatting, scrubbing and repetitive movement involved (i.e. mopping, cleaning toilets, etc.) quiet office environment handle chemicals and required to complete training repetitive pushing and pulling motions of items from 0-25 lbs (ex. broom, vacuum, floor cleaner, grasping and holding cleaning items and equipment (ex. paper towels, sponges, scrubbing wands, etc. )
