Evening Janitor

Job description: Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at a single facility, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning , with an emphasis on quality and efficiency. Able to accommodate the customer as this is a daytime position working around the customers personal. This is a W-2 position with taxes and insurance handled through payroll. Weekly pay is provided with nothing held back. All cleaning supplies and equipment are supplied by the company.. Hours are Monday - Friday 5.00pm - 10.00pm. This position is for an immediate start. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Carry out custodial responsibilities including trash removal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies. Complete deep cleaning assignments and special projects when required Maintinaing equipment and keeping it in good running order. Work cooperatively with team members when necessary Conduct commercial cleaning duties in offices, restrooms, and common areas. Provide porter services by assisting with the movement of furniture or equipment as required. Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents or injuries. Qualifications and Skills Prior commercial cleaning experience preferred Strong attention to detail Ability to maintain accurate records and checklists Ability to safely lift up to 35 pounds using proper lifting techniques Must have reliable transportation , valid insurance , and a Florida driver's license Ability to speak, read, and write English Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Ability to work independently or as part of a team Ability to follow instructions carefully Must have a working smartphone with reliable service Must pass a background check Experience Previous experience in janitorial services or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness are crucial for success in this role.
