Commercial Night Cleaner (Subcontractor) Chemistry Cleaning LLC DeLand, FL Job Details Contract 1 day ago Qualifications Chemical handling safety procedures Floor cleaning chemicals Heavy lifting Removing debris Floor polishers Chemical handling Attention to detail Facilities maintenance Chemical safety protocols Time management Full Job Description Overview We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented commercial cleaning subcontractor to service a premier commercial account. This is a consistent, monthly paid contract for an individual or team capable of delivering high-quality janitorial services during after-hours operations.
Responsibilities Schedule & Availability Days:
Monday through Saturday, plus the last Sunday of every month.
Shift:
Night/After-Hours (specific window to be coordinated upon contract award).
Type:
Long-term independent contract. Scope of Work (Performance Standards) The subcontractor will be responsible for ensuring the facility is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to the contract specifications, including but not limited to:
Surface Care:
Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all flooring surfaces; dusting and wiping down desks, countertops, and common areas.
Sanitization:
Comprehensive cleaning and disinfecting of all restrooms and break rooms/kitchenettes (sinks, toilets, mirrors, and appliances).
Waste Management:
Emptying all trash, recycling, and sanitary bins, replacing liners, and disposing of waste in designated facility dumpsters.
Detailing:
High/low dusting, removing cobwebs, spot-cleaning glass partitions, and ensuring high-touch points (doorknobs, light switches) are sanitized daily.
Security & Compliance:
Ensuring the facility is locked, alarmed, and secure upon departure according to standard operating procedures. Requirements Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial roles; janitorial or facilities maintenance background is highly valued. Familiarity with chemical agents used in cleaning processes and proper handling procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices. Experience operating floor buffers, polishers, and other custodial equipment. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and efficiently across multiple sites.
