Day Porter / Commercial Cleaner Chemistry Cleaning LLC DeLand, FL Job Details Contract 1 day ago Qualifications Janitorial experience In-person customer service Attention to detail Cleaning Time management Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Independent Contractor to provide professional Day Porter and commercial cleaning services for two closely situated locations. The ideal contractor will ensure both facilities maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment during peak mid-day hours. Because this is a mid-day shift in occupied buildings, the contractor must possess excellent communication skills, a professional appearance, and a customer-service-oriented mindset. Responsibilities Scope of Work (Services to be Provided) The subcontractor will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, and high-traffic zones across both locations.

Key responsibilities include:

Restroom Maintenance:

Restocking paper products/soap, wiping down counters and sinks, sanitizing high-touch fixtures, and emptying trash.

Common Areas & Lobbies:

Polishing entry glass doors, wiping down counters, and spot-cleaning high-traffic touchpoints (door handles, light switches, elevator buttons).

Floor Care:

Spot-mopping spills and vacuuming debris in main walkways or lobbies as needed.

Trash Removal:

Monitoring and emptying common area trash and recycling bins to prevent overflow.

Facility Rotation:

Effectively managing time to split the mid-day shift between both locations (conveniently located less than 2 miles apart). Requirements & Qualifications To successfully fulfill this contract, the subcontractor must provide/meet the following:

Experience:

Proven experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or hospitality/day porter roles.

Transportation:

Reliable transportation to commute between the two locations during the shift.

Equipment & Supplies:

Contractor must provide their own standard cleaning equipment/supplies.

Business Credentials:

Must have a valid Business ID/EIN (or SSN for sole proprietors) and be able to fill out a W-9.

Insurance:

Must carry General Liability Insurance.

Background:
