Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various facilities. Your energetic approach and commitment to excellence will ensure that spaces are hygienic, organized, and inviting for residents, guests, and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a positive atmosphere through diligent cleaning and custodial duties. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in residential, commercial, or hospitality settings. Maintain floor care by vacuuming carpets, polishing hard floors, and applying appropriate cleaning agents to preserve their appearance and longevity. Handle laundry services such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items for residential or hotel environments. Ensure sanitation standards are met by properly disposing of waste, sanitizing restrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly. Conduct detailed cleaning of bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas to promote health and safety. Assist with basic cooking tasks if required for hospitality settings or resident needs. Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues and replenishing supplies to ensure seamless operations. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential buildings, hotels, or commercial facilities is highly desirable. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and steam cleaners. Experience in hotel housekeeping or housekeeper management roles is a plus. Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment. Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Previous work involving laundry services or floor care techniques will be considered an asset.
