Job Description

Gainesville Collision Center is searching for Service Lot Porter(s). Our Lot Porters are responsible for taking care of the collision center lot, cars and customer cars, as well as driving the shuttle. Working in the elements, including rain, heat, wind, etc. Schedule is Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm. MUST have valid driver's license to do this job. Job Duties consist of, but are not limited to: Daily cleanup of all shop areas, sweeping floors, picking up and taking out trash and recycling, loading damaged car parts into metal dumpsters. Moving and unloading parts in and around departments. Assisting the Detail department with vacuuming and washing vehicles as needed. Minor building maintenance, leaf blowing, changing overhead light bulbs, window cleaning, etc. Use of hand tools, leaf blower, drill, pressure washer. Delivering and picking up vehicles to and from customers and other vendors. Ensure all vehicles are securely locked and keys are taken to proper location in shop. Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner. Assist in moving disabled vehicles in or around the department Operate the overhead doors as needed to assist customers or service employees and to maintain the best possible shop working environment. Inspect each vehicle for lot damage that may have been done during the vehicle's stay in the service department. Report any damage to management immediately. When delivering completed vehicles to their owners, thank them in a friendly and courteous manner and let them know we appreciate their business. Qualifications:
Computer proficient Valid Driver's License Must be 19 years of age or older Excellent communications skills Team player with a great attitude Applicants must be 19 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S. Must have a valid driver license and a good driving record.
