Varied part-time hours as needed Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, Inc. is seeking dependable, detail-oriented, and service-focused individuals to join our commercial contracts team as Part-Time Janitors. Position Overview As a Part-Time Janitor, this position is responsible for performing janitorial duties in office buildings and related commercial areas under the direction of the Project Manager. This role includes cleaning, sanitizing, maintaining work areas, restocking supplies, and ensuring janitor closets and equipment are kept clean, organized, and safe. This position is ideal for someone who is reliable, willing to learn proper cleaning techniques, and able to provide quality customer service to clients. What You'll Do Cleaning & Sanitation Vacuum, sweep, mop, and machine scrub flooring and stairs Clean and sanitize bathrooms, sinks, countertops, toilets, and bathroom stall walls Dust and clean office desks and furniture that are not cluttered Clean windowsills, stairwells, break rooms, and common areas Empty trash cans, replace liners, and clean receptacles as needed Supplies & Work Area Organization Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas as necessary Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner Maintain and use cleaning equipment safely and properly Report damage to cleaning equipment to the Project Manager or supervisor Report maintenance needs to the Project Manager or supervisor Safety & Team Responsibilities Wear proper personal protective equipment at all times Properly label, dilute, and use cleaning chemicals Follow oral instructions and complete assigned tasks as directed Work effectively with a team while also working independently when needed Provide quality customer service to clients and maintain professional communication Complete other duties as assigned or as needed What We're Looking For We are looking for reliable team members who take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and professional work environments.
