Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Full-Time Janitor/Custodian to help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of our school campus. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is reliable, and understands the importance of keeping a school environment sanitary and well-maintained. Responsibilities Clean classrooms, offices, bathrooms, hallways, cafeteria areas, and common spaces Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces daily Empty trash and replace liners Clean and disinfect restrooms throughout the day as needed Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other supplies Assist with setting up and cleaning up after school events Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or needed repairs Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment responsibly Follow school safety, sanitation, and security procedures Perform other custodial duties as assigned Qualifications Prior janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience preferred Must be dependable, punctual, and trustworthy Ability to work independently and follow directions Strong attention to detail Ability to lift, bend, stand, and move throughout the workday Must maintain a professional and respectful attitude in a school environment Background check required Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and takes initiative.
