A Culver's porter is responsible for maintaining the restaurant's cleanliness, safety, and equipment, primarily working in the early morning to prepare the building for daily operations. Key duties include cleaning kitchen equipment (grills/fryers), managing inventory, and maintaining the exterior grounds.

Culver's Porter:

Opening/Maintenance:

Arrive early to deep clean the kitchen, including scrubbing grills, fryers, and floors, and ensuring all equipment is in working order.

Stocking & Inventory:

Unload food delivery trucks, properly rotate stock, and move inventory into coolers, freezers, and dry storage.

Exterior Maintenance:

Clean the parking lot, power-wash sidewalks, manage waste receptacles, and handle landscaping or snow removal.

Daily Projects:

Follow a scheduled maintenance calendar for weekly and monthly deep-cleaning projects, such as cleaning air vents and baseboards.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure the restaurant meets health and safety standards, including monitoring food product shelf life and ensuring proper chemical handling.
