Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas are spotless, well-maintained, and compliant with health and safety standards. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for everyone who enters our spaces. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-organized and hygienic environment that supports the productivity and comfort of staff and visitors alike. Hours and evenings needed Thursday - Monday 3 pm to 12 am with Tue and Wed off and other position from Thursday - Sunday 3 pm to 12 am with Monday and Tue and Wed off. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained Handle custodial tasks including trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces regularly Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, fixtures, and furniture to uphold a professional appearance Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs needed or safety hazards promptly Assist with industrial cleaning projects or specialized cleaning tasks as required Use commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively to maximize efficiency and safety Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with knowledge of custodial procedures Strong understanding of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors Familiarity with commercial cleaning products and industrial cleaning practices Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks related to facilities upkeep Experience in residential painting or general facilities maintenance is a plus Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness standards Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments Join us in creating pristine environments that promote health, safety, and comfort!
