Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. General Janitorial cleaning positions with cleaning duties to be performed daily for Offices, Condominiums, Hotels, Schools, Hospitals, Clinics and multiple Government facilities.

Daily Duties:

Clean entrances, corridors, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, stairways and other work areas. Dust and clean all furniture; Clean and polish all mirrors and glass. Vacuum all carpets in designated common areas of buildings (hallways, corridors, lobbies and entrances). Spot clean and dust all horizontal and vertical surfaces. Clean desks and dust area around work stations and partitions. Sweep and mop all floors. Empty wastebaskets, replace liners as needed and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Clean, Sanitize restrooms and polish all restroom fixtures; clean all mirrors and glass fixtures. Wipe and polish all counters and metal dispensers. Clean and polish all door tracks. Clean and polish elevator tracks and all woodwork. Sweep and mop all elevator hard floors. Clean and sanitize (replace all paper & soap products daily). Dust, vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, hallways as assigned in designated areas. Remove trash Clean glass doors and mirrors. Duties will vary for each account as per building specifications. All employees are trained to perform daily tasks as needed and instructed.
