06/04/2025 Custodian - Full Time $15.48/hour - Facilities Maintenance Under direction and supervision, is responsible for the housekeeping-type maintenance of County facilities as assigned or other type of indoor and exterior facility; does related work as may be required. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Lead Custodian.
Job Functions:
Assumes total routine tasks, including sweeping, scrubbing, dusting, polishing floors, washing walls, cleaning restrooms, windows, walks, and fixtures, and performs minor painting and general repair work at the center. Replenishes restroom supplies, empties garbage and trash containers. Requests requisition of cleaning and maintenance supplies and equipment. Maintains necessary records relating to work performed and makes required reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
Rudimentary knowledge of maintenance requirements and use of cleaning and repair equipment. Some knowledge of routine type repairs usually required in the operation of an indoor recreation facility. Good personality and the ability to maintain good relationships with associates, staff, and facility patrons. The ability and initiative to work effectively without close or continuous supervision. Education and Experience Graduation from high school desirable, although not essential.
